# Protecting Waverley's Heritage and Liveability

Save Our Suburbs – Waverley is a community group working to protect the character, liveability and heritage of Waverley’s neighbourhoods. We advocate for fair, sustainable planning and oppose large-scale developments that exceed local infrastructure capacity. Our focus is on preserving streetscapes, protecting heritage conservation areas, and ensuring residents have a strong voice in planning decisions.

## Protecting the Future of Our Neighbourhood

We cut through confusion with clear, factual information and mobilise residents to respond to planning proposals. Our goal is simple: development that fits local infrastructure, respects neighbourhood character and safeguards Waverley’s heritage.

## Sustainable planning that protects Waverley's character and infrastructure

We advocate for development that respects local infrastructure capacity, preserves heritage conservation areas, and maintains neighbourhood character. Our evidence-based approach ensures planning decisions reflect community needs and environmental sustainability.
